Originally coming from a classical background (The Royal Danish Ballet), but having spent more than 17 years studying and 6 years teaching contemporary, jazz and fusion I use my knowledge of alignment and technique in an innovative ,injury preventing and dynamic way. I ensure you leave the class feeling energised, motivated and inspired to succeed in your daily life!
Regular/guest teacher at Pineapple Dance Studios, Central School of Ballet, Aviv Dance Studios, North London Performing Arts Centre, Sceneindgangen (Copenhagen).
Background: Trained at The Royal Danish Ballet School, Copenhagen and Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance, London. Taught at Pineapple Dance Studios, Central School of Ballet, Aviv Dance Studios and Sceneindgangen, Copenhagen.
Performanced in: La Calisto; Royal Opera House, Spamalot; Copenhagen, The Brits, Swan Lake. Napoli, La Sylphiede, Royal Danish Ballet, as well as music videos for artists incl: Fergie; London Bridge, The Kooks; Naive, Bodyrockers; I like the way you move, Primal Scream; Dolls etc. Choreographed shows for L'Oreal, Tony and Guy, Trevor Sorbie, and The Cochrane Theatre, Covent Garden.
Josie is a whizz at getting you in great shape. She'll help you attain perfected movement, flexibility, cardio fitness and your optimum physical condition! Most importantly her classes great fun too!
1-2-1 sessions with Josie: £70-100 per hour + travel expenses
